The term ‘Property’ has a vast concept. It cannot be considered with a definition of a few words. That could be why lawmakers could not bring a concrete definition under the Transfer of Property Act or the Registration Act. To have an idea, the property can be understood as ‘Something which can be owned, controlled and managed, also having a certain market value.’ Since the understanding is too vast, the different property types are also based on discrete factors. A few prominent types of properties, including Movable and Immovable property and Tangible and Intangible property. Additionally, it has a few more to the list, including intellectual property, public and private property, etc.
